Match equipment to the operation
An extraction vessel provides controlled contact between material and medium. Filters and centrifuges address solid–liquid separation; evaporators remove solvent; dryers convert suitable feeds into dry material. These roles can overlap within integrated systems, but one machine name does not define an entire extraction process.
Ask about the actual feed
Selection depends on solids loading, particle distribution, viscosity, solvent compatibility and cleaning requirements. A polishing separator is not automatically the right first step for a heavy slurry. Ask the equipment specialist to assess representative feed and define acceptance measures rather than accepting a brochure capacity as a guarantee.
Keep safety and ownership claims separate
